I’m salty that the washing machines had an “off” button which resulted in it eating my money because none of the buttons had fully legible labels and it forgot I’d already paid. What public laundromat has washers which let you turn them off???
I dunno how he would have meant it was the New Berlin but I definitely noticed a lot of like package tour groups from East Asia, which I generally associate with Paris more than anywhere else. If he was talking about nightlife, I liked the bars in Vienna just fine, was too tired for nightclubbing. It was probably the densest stretch of the trip in terms of touring.
As I'll get into more, the Hapsburgs still loom pretty large over the city. Idk how Catholic the average Austrian is these days but they're still surrounded by Catholic art and architecture.

Funny!
Having flashbacks of the many times we hit the wall during bus/train/ walking glitches (largely self inflicted). Love ‘Travels with Klaus and Liz’.
